If you are considering hiring a cleaning service, you probably have questions.  Some of the most frequently asked questions about our cleaning services and company policies are listed below:

 

Are you licensed, insured and bonded to perform cleaning services?

Yes. Our company is fully licensed, bonded and insured. We have liability and employee accident coverage. Your home, our employees, and our company are included in our insurance coverage.

 

Who will be cleaning my home?

One or more of our well trained professional cleaners will clean your home. There is always a senior person present on the job to ensure that our quality standard is maintained. In addition, on most jobs the owner will stop in to look things over. All of our professional domestics are insured and bonded. They will treat your home with respect and will not drink, eat or smoke in your home.

 

Do you have references?

Yes, we will gladly provide references on request.  We have been in the cleaning business in Sarasota and Manatee counties for seven years and have numerous regular customers you may contact.  In the meantime, take a look at some testimonials from some of our many satisfied clients in the Sarasota and Bradenton areas.

 

Are your cleaners pre-screened, trained and supervised?

Every one of our employees is a well trained cleaning professional who is bonded and insured. The owner personally conducts a thorough interview and background check on all employees.  The Pearl Cleaning team members are supervised and held to our very high quality standards.

 

What if something is damaged during a home cleaning?

We treat you and your home with respect; however, accidents do happen. Unfortunately breakage happens occasionally with even the most experienced and conscience cleaning professionals. If we are responsible for damages to your home or items in your home, we will leave a note for you and place a follow up call. We are fully insured, so claims are filed when appropriate.

 

Do I need to be at home when you clean my house?

It’s your choice. You may confidently give us a key to be safely stored by the company owner.  If you have a security system, just make arrangements to give us access to your home on your scheduled cleaning day. Many clients create a temporary or guest code for us.  Clients who own second homes often provide access or keys so we can freshen the home just prior to their arrival and conduct a thorough cleaning upon their departure.  Just give us notice, and we will have your home ready for your vacation.

 

What are your cleaning rates?

Our fees are based on the size and condition of the home. At our initial meeting, we will conduct a walk through and discuss the services you require in order to provide you with a quote for services. Initial cleanings are usually a “Spring Clean” to bring the home up to our cleanliness standards. After the initial cleaning, regularly scheduled cleanings to maintain the home are at a lower rate due to the cleaning process taking less time. We strive to offer fair and reasonable prices along with exceptional quality.

 

What if I would like a cleaning service that is not included in your regular cleaning package?

We can customize your cleaning service however you need. We offer à la carte and hourly rate services to handle your special needs or projects. When scheduling your service, just tell us what you have in mind and we will provide a quote for the add-on.

 

How do I pay you for your cleaning services?

Payment is due on the day of service. You may pay by cash, personal check or credit card. On regularly scheduled visits, we ask you to leave payment on the kitchen counter top in an envelope if you will not be present.

 

Do I need to provide my own cleaning products?

We are equipped with all the safe and earth friendly cleaning supplies and equipment needed for your regular cleaning. You may provide specific products for use in your home if you wish. However, they must be considered safe for the employee.

 

Do you guarantee a specific day and time for my cleaning?

Typically we guarantee a specific day for your cleaning but not a exact time. Schedules flex during the day based on additional services and clients. However, if you do need a specific time, feel free to discuss this with us, and we will make every effort to find a satisfactory solution.

 

What If I need to reschedule my service?

Simply give us a call as soon as possible so we can plan our schedules accordingly. We do request a minimum of 72-hours advanced notice for any rescheduling or cancellation requests in order to avoid fees.
